Angel Academe are a network for professional women with extensive business experience who want to support tech entrepreneurs – as mentors, non-execs and angel investors. Some of us are old hands at this, others are just starting. But Angel Academe all have plenty of value to add. In particular, skills including finance, HR, legal and marketing through to technical, PR and sales. Angel Academe have held senior management positions in all types of organisations: from startups to multinationals in technology, media, telecoms, banking and law.Angel Academe are inspired by individuals such as Sherry Coutu, Dale Murray, Maria Dramalioti-Taylor and Marianne Abib-Pech in the UK who are already very active angels. Also by organisations such as Astia, Golden Seeds, Women Innovate Mobile and Pipeline Fellowship in the US. They are creating a generation of female mentors, investors and non-execs. Like them, Angel Academe believe that to help more women go big with their ventures Angel Academe need to increase the number of women investors.
