The Fund of Funds FOND-ICO Global responds to one of the main requests of the Venture Capital community in Spain, which demanded greater involvement by the public sector at a time when it is difficult to generate investment in Spain and raise capital. It is therefore an instrument to attract foreign capital and leverage private capital.
Already constituted on may 2013, it is the first Spanish public "Fund of Funds" endowed nowadays with up to €2 billion with the aim of promoting the creation of venture capital funds managed by private managers covering the investment in Spanish companies within all their development stages.
