Resensys manufactures wireless SenSpot for structural monitoring. SenSpot can monitor strain, vibration, tilt, temperature, and humidity.
Resensys offers structural health monitoring solutions based on its wireless Internet of Thing (IoT) sensor technology, known as SenSpot™. Technical novelty of SenSpot is conducting high performance data acquisition while consuming very small electrical power. For example, Resensys wireless strain gauge sensor (strain SenSpot) can take up to 100 strain samples per second, while providing 10 years of battery life. In addition to wireless strain gauge sensors, other variations of SenSpot are capable of monitoring vibration, tilt, inclination, temperature, and humidity. Having monitored all these important structural quantities in real time, SenSpot sensors provide reliable tools to detect overstrain, metal fatigue, formation of cracks, movement and instability of foundation, as well as monitoring vibration and performing modal analysis.
