Technology has been intensively used in several sports to provide athletes with additional information. For action sports and in particular skateboarding, the situation is different. Every device out there is either designed for other sport, or it just provides numbers that are not particularly useful for these kind of sports. Skateboarding is about expressing your style, learning new skills and sharing with the community.
We designed a platform that leverages the data provided by a device attached to the board. Syrmo lets skaters track sessions trick by trick and get a 3D replay of the board’s movements. To create the ultimate experience, our mobile app helps skaters create, edit and share pro-style skate videos recorded with the phone's camera.
