Llama Media is an innovative media company located in Llama Land, focusing on providing efficient localized marketing solutions for brands. Its core business model revolves around unique Llama Media NPC agents. These agents are deployed in the most densely populated areas of Llama Land to ensure they attract the maximum amount of attention.

When sponsors advertise with Llama Media, NPC agents will conduct promotions at designated locations. These Llama Media agents will showcase information about the sponsor's products or services, provide detailed introductions to the ad content, and share relevant information. Additionally, to encourage interaction from the citizens of Llama Land, each user who engages with a Llama Media agent will receive a certain amount of Llama tokens — a virtual currency in Llama Land, provided by the sponsor as a reward.

This blend of traditional promotions and modern digital marketing enhances ad effectiveness, boosts user engagement, and offers sponsors direct market feedback with higher returns. Through this method, Llama Media successfully integrates advertising into the daily lives of Llama Land citizens, creating a win-win situation.

How to Place Ads

Advertisers can place ads through the Llama Media NPC (currently supporting up to 2 concurrent ad campaigns). As shown in the image below, you can find the Llama Media NPC at the top-right corner of Llama Land. By clicking on it, a form for placing ads will appear. The main contents of the form are as follows:

  • Llama Coins to Sponsor: The cost for this ad placement, currently only accepting Llama tokens. For example, you can enter 100.
  • Advertising Period (days): The duration of the ad campaign, measured in days. We charge a handling fee based on the duration, currently at 10 Llama tokens per day. The minimum duration is 1 day, and the maximum is 7 days.
  • Advertisement Content: The text content of the ad. Supports up to 5000 characters.
  • Minimum Amount for Claim: The minimum reward that Llama Land citizens receive when viewing the ad. For example, you can enter 1, meaning the minimum reward is 1 Llama token.
  • Maximum Amount for Claim: The maximum reward that Llama Land citizens receive when viewing the ad. For example, you can enter 5, meaning the maximum reward is 5 Llama tokens.
  • Sponsor Name: The name of the sponsor. This can be a personal name or an organization name, such as Llama King. If left blank, the ad will be placed anonymously, and Llama Land citizens will see "someone" as the sponsor.

After completing the form, click Submit to place your ad. However, currently, only up to 2 ads can be placed simultaneously. If there are no available Llama Media NPC agents when you attempt to place your ad, don't worry; the funds will not be "swallowed." The funds will be immediately refunded to the address from which the ad was placed.

Once the ad is successfully placed, a Llama Media NPC agent will appear near the (0, 0) coordinates in Llama Land, as shown in the image below. The agent's name will change to “Claim to share {n} Llama,” attracting Llama Land citizens to view the ad. Note: After the ad is placed, the Llama Media NPC's name will automatically change. However, you will need to log out and log back in to see the name change.

The second and third Llama Media NPC agents will also appear in nearby positions. This location is the highest-traffic entry point in Llama Land. To avoid overlapping ad placements, currently, only three Llama Media NPC agents can exist simultaneously.

When Llama Land citizens arrive in Llama Land and see that there are Llama tokens to claim, they will click on the corresponding Llama Media NPC agent. At this point, the ad content that was entered during the ad placement will appear, as shown in the image below:

  • First, there is the main title “Claim.”
  • Next, the subtitle “Sponsored by {Sponsor name}” appears. If no sponsor name was entered during the ad placement, it will display “Sponsored by someone.”
  • Finally, the specific ad content is shown, where you can provide an introduction to your business and include relevant links. The message “Claim only for vouched citizens” will be automatically added at the end.

After a Llama Land citizen clicks Submit, they will receive the corresponding Llama token reward. The number of Llama tokens is a random integer between the Minimum amount for claim and the Maximum amount for claim. A notification will also be sent to the chat channel. Note: Each Llama Land citizen can only claim Llama tokens once per ad campaign, and they must be a vouched citizen to claim.

Business Rules

  1. We will charge 10 Llama tokens per day as a handling fee. For example, if the advertising period is 5 days, the total cost will be 50 Llama tokens. (If the sponsorship amount is less than the transaction fee, the ad placement will fail, and the corresponding tokens will be refunded to the sponsor.)
  2. We will randomly select an integer between the minimum and maximum values to determine the number of tokens a user receives upon claiming.
  3. Unclaimed funds at the end of the campaign are refunded to the sponsor.
  4. If the sponsorship amount has been fully claimed, any subsequent attempts to claim tokens will be unsuccessful. (However, if your ad is engaging enough, I believe people will still be willing to come and view it.)
  5. The number of Llama Media NPC agents is limited. If there are no available Llama Media NPC agents, please try sponsoring again later.
  6. Claims are limited to vouched users with a vouch score greater than 2. (This is consistent with the requirements for petitions to Llama King.)
