The advanced e-signatures* generated by Mifiel are presumed to be authentic in court unless the signer can prove otherwise, giving it advantage over any other e-signature standard or even autograph signatures. *An advanced e-signature is akin to a digital identification card issued by the government, often associated to the biometric data of the individual to which it belongs. It is composed of a cryptographic key pair (provided as files or as files embedded within a chip in an ID card) that allows the individual to securely authenticate their identity and sign documents digitally. There are over 60 countries in the world that emit such signatures, most notably in Mexico, the EU, and East Asia.
