Akshay Kothari is the co-founder of Pulse, a mobile application that allows you to read all your favorite content in one place. Pulse began as a class project in the Launchpad class at Stanford University, and has grown to over 30 million users today. It won the coveted Apple Design Award in 2011 and was inducted into the App Store Hall of Fame. Pulse was recently acquired by Linkedin for $90 million.
