Alie Tan joined Affle in 2006. As the lead of the Affle Media Lab development team, he oversees the architecture, design and implementation of the projects both internal and external.

At Affle he played in integral role in the early development of our flagship products such as SMS2.0 and Pinch and has risen through the ranks quickly. Alie draws on his technical skills and knowledge to understand the complexities and challenges customers face and to lead his team as they analyze and address customer requirements with successful solutions.

Prior to joining Affle he worked with inTouch Pte Ltd as Senior Software Engineer, developing technology solutions for Symbian and J2ME phones. It was during this stint where he led the notable implementation of the mobile content application called "AirAlbum" for Nokia, which was used in every S60 3rd Edition device.

Alie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bina Nusantara University. A coder at heart, he was the winner of the prestigious SDN (Symbian Developer Network) Wiki Competition and Symbian "Because of the Code" Competition in 2007.
