Allison Pickens is an internationally known thought leader on Customer Success and scaling teams during hyper-growth. As former Gainsight's Chief Operating Officer, Allison manages corporate strategic planning, corporate development, and operational responsibilities that are critical to the company and its customers’ success. Allison was named one of the top women leaders in SaaS, one of the 50 people in the sales and business development industry, and named a Customer Service Influencer. She is an international speaker and blogger, and the host of The Customer Success Podcast. She also serves as a Board Director at SaaS companies RainforestQA and eCompliance and is a Growth Operating Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. She has a passion for helping companies create exceptional Customer Success initiatives across their company. Allison built and scaled Gainsight’s post-sales functions, including a global team of more than 150 team members across Customer Success Management, Professional Services, Support, Business Operations, Customer Marketing, Value Consulting, and Customer Engineering. Before that, she built Gainsight's Sales Development and Business Operations, teams. Allison started her career in management consulting for Fortune 500 companies while at Boston Consulting Group and later worked in private equity investing at Bain Capital. At both companies, she helped organizations drive change and scale teams. Allison has a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University, as well as an MBA from Stanford University.
