Anju Patwardhan is Managing Director with CreditEase for its Fintech Investment Fund and Fund of Funds and is a member of the Investment Committee. She is also a 2016 Fulbright Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Stanford University working on fintech and financial inclusion. Anju has over 25 years of banking experience with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank in global leadership roles across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Her last role at SCB was as Global Chief Innovation Officer (until July 2016). She is a globally recognized and awarded Fintech thought leader and influencer and was recently ranked number 1 globally by Bank Innovation in its 2017 list of “44 Innovators to Watch". She is a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) steering committee on ‘disruptive innovation in financial services’ and a member of its Global Future Council on Blockchain. She is also a member of Institute of International Finance (IIF) Advisory Group on Fintech Partnerships, and Faculty at Singularity University. She is a Distinguished Fellow of Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance (the highest financial services accolade in Singapore) and an Innovation Fellow with National University of Singapore (NUS).
