Ann Miura-Ko, has been called “the most powerful woman in startups.” She is the co-founding partner at seed-stage VC firm, Floodgate, where she has made early investments in TaskRabbit, Xamarin, Refinery29 and Lyft (she’s also a board member). Ann believes in creation over disruption and that world-class effort will always be rewarded, especially in Silicon Valley, where we are just beginning to scratch the surface of so many new and emerging technologies. She is a lecturer at Stanford where she teaches how to spot controversial and disruptive insights, network effects, organizational design, and more.
