Brian DuPree is an Athens, Georgia based painter with a Fine Arts Degree from the University of South Florida College of the Arts. After graduating from college, he entered the art trade as a professional, inspired by landscapes and cityscapes and abstracts only beheld by the most adventurous. Taking an adventurous trip around the States and watching the seasons and the light change daily across all those beautiful places, provided endless inspiration for his work. After this exploratory cross-country trip, he decided to move to Athens, Georgia. There he quickly blended into the vibrant art scene.
Brian’s works in watercolor, oil, ink, and acrylic. He loves the watercolor medium for the layering, colors, and transparency which appeal to his sense of spontaneity. His paintings are vibrant, bright, and rich with wonderful depth and tonal ranges. With abounding color and vibrant beauty, his art has found a home in many private and public collections. Brian DuPree from Athens, Georgia is not content with one style but wants to evolve continually. He loves to enrich his creativity and artistic vision through continued experimentation. He hopes his creations bring you joy and an increased appreciation for the medium and the subjects of his paintings as much as they do for him.
