Bruce brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to Spotcap. Bruce has held senior positions with a number of major banks including Wells Fargo Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as well as innovative fintech businesses including Better Finance (SmartBiz) and now Spotcap.

In his role as CRO, Bruce has led Spotcap’s risk management function including credit scorecard development, credit policy, decision engine deployment, advanced analytics, and new product development.

Bruce is a sought-after speaker on topics such as risk analytics, risk-based pricing, big data mining, and financial services product strategy in the United States, Australia, and Europe and has authored several patents in the fintech industry. He also has current and previous advisor roles with several small business lending, consumer lending, P2P, data companies, credit bureaus, and several major banks across the globe.
