Before joining Investcorp in 1999, Charles Marquis spent 31 years with the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and was a member of its executive committee for the final six years.

In addition to general corporate work, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and floatations. As the lead corporate lawyer for Investcorp since its inception, he has advised the Firm on almost every corporate investment transaction it has conducted in North America to date. He has also been a board member of Tiffany & Co. since 1984.


Charles holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA from Stanford University, California.
