Charlie loves building tech businesses. It's his passion.

Charlie has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is also a self taught developer and a lover of entrepreneurship, technology, marketing and consumer behavior.

Charlie founded Passport Inc. in Minnesota in 2010 where he learned the ins and outs of building a successful company from an idea. While at Passport, Charlie helped the company raise 10m in funding, build the product and land large clients like Chicago, Boston and Toronto for Passport's parking payments platform.

In 2016 Charlie started his second company, Sezzle, with the goal to improve payments for merchants and consumers. In his first twelve months at Sezzle, Charlie closed a seed round funding of nearly $2m, garnering major attention for Sezzle and its mission.
