Dhruva joined the investment team at Kalaari in May 2015 and is interested in investment opportunities across sectors.

He has two years of professional experience with Capital One where he was responsible for developing risk models for the auto finance portfolio with a special focus on the Subprime book. He also undertook independent research projects and delivered interesting insights about the auto lending business.

He graduated in the top 3% of his batch from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad where his electives were focused on finance and investing. He was also nominated to pursue a double degree course at Bocconi University, Milan. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Reading is his most preferred mode of distraction. His favourite authors are Borges, Calvino, Kafka, Nabokov, Dostoyevsky and Douglas Adams. Dhruva is also an avid trekker and has completed several treks in the Himalayas, the Arctic and the Alps. His other recreational pursuits include quizzing, movies and music
