Bringing more than 20 years of business and legal experience to Optimal Blue Secondary Services, Don has focused on the mortgage industry since 2000.

Don originally founded Secondary Interactive, and pioneered their risk management practice with a vision for leveraging technology to make mortgage and business processes more efficient and more profitable. Optimal Blue acquired Secondary Interactive in 2008, and in October 2013, Secondary Interactive’s name was changed to Optimal Blue Secondary Services, completing the alignment of the two brands.

Don received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law. He is active in the community having served on the City Council for the City of Louisville, the Board of Directors for the Denver Regional Council of Governments, the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Boulder Valley and is past Chair of the Alumni Board for the University of Colorado School of Law. He is frequent speaker at industry events on topics relating to secondary marketing, risk management, best execution and loan commitments.
