Ed is a co-founder and managing partner at Tamarisc Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm that invests in real estate technology companies. Representative investments include SmartCSM, Bevi, Getaway, Omni, and Serraview.

Ed was previously the founding Vice President of Business Development for a venture-backed startup that leverages big data analytics to purchase and operate single-family homes as short-term vacation rentals on Airbnb.

Previously, Ed worked at Morningside Ventures in Boston, one of China’s first and largest VC firms, where he focused on the biotech and cleantech sectors. He also held business development roles at a Morningside portfolio company that was acquired in 2015.

Ed received an MBA from Harvard, an MSc from Oxford, and a BA from Trinity College.
