Ellen Alarilla is the Program Manager for Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility (SCR) for Ericsson in its Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India market area. She handles Ericsson’s Technology for Good projects in this market area, focusing on ICT in Education in Myanmar through Ericsson’s Connect to Learn program, and on climate change mitigation in Malaysia and the Philippines through the Connected Mangroves initiative. The Connect to Learn Myanmar program has benefited nearly 30,000 students, while the Connected Mangroves is helping to secure 3,000 kilometers of coastline in Malaysia and around 900 hectares of mangroves and mudflats in the Philippines. She is part of Ericsson’s global Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility team and is also part of the market area Communications and Marketing team. Prior to handling SCR for the market area, Ellen was the Head of Public, Media, and Analyst Relations for Ericsson in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Ellen is based in Manila, Philippines and joined Ericsson in 2006.
