Francois has over 25 years experience in developing and bringing to market innovative medical device. In 2004 he co-founded Theraclion, maker of the EchoPulse HIFU device for the treatment of breast and thyroid tumors. Theraclion is now listed on Alternext. Previously, Francois had been VP R&D of EDAP-Technomed since 1988, where he conducted the development of HIFU basics, as well as of its first clinical application for the non invasive treatment of prostate cancer (Ablatherm) which was successfully introduced in European market in 2001.
