Frank Sobey has been a director of Crombie and its predecessors since 1981 and Chairman since 1998. Mr. Sobey is a director of Empire Company Limited, was Chairman of the former Oversight Committee of Empire and served as a trustee and Chairman of the Governance and Nominating Committee of Wajax Income Fund (now Wajax Corporation) until October 5, 2010. He is also Chairman of the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation. Mr. Sobey is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP)and, in 2013, received the ICD.D designation.
