Frank Tang, a member of Accenture’s board of directors since May 2014, is chief executive officer and managing partner of FountainVest Partners, a leading private equity fund dedicated to investments in China.Before co-founding FountainVest in 2007, Tang was senior managing director and head of China investments at Temasek Holdings, an investment company owned by the government of Singapore.Prior to joining Temasek in 2005, Tang was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for nearly 11 years.He began his investment banking career in the New York office before moving to Hong Kong, where he headed the telecommunications, media and technology investment banking effort in Asia, excluding Japan.Tang is a board member of Weibo Corporation and IMAX China, as well as a governor of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.Tang earned his MBA from Columbia Business School—where he is a member of its board of overseers—and his Bachelor’s degree from Donghua University.
