Gangesh Ganesan took over as the CEO of Ubicom in January 2009. With more than 13 years of experience in the embedded processing and semiconductor markets, Mr. Ganesan brings marketing, sales and product management expertise to drive Ubicom's market share and global expansion in the 32-bit CPU market. Mr. Ganesan joined Ubicom in March 2007 as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to joining Ubicom, Mr. Ganesan was director of strategic marketing and business development for the Ethernet/Enterprise Business Unit at Marvell Semiconductor. In this role, he was responsible for global customer design-wins and managing partners and third-party relationships with chip, software and system companies. Before joining Marvell, Mr. Ganesan was director of marketing for the TCAM products at Cypress Semiconductor and responsible at various times for product marketing and business development activities. He was previously with Telex Communications where he started off his career as an FPGA and ASIC designer in Minneapolis.Mr. Ganesan holds an MBA and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Madras, India.
