Gary Convis brings more than 44 years of manufacturing experience.

He has dedicated his life to the advancement of manufacturing in America, and is an accomplished practitioner of Lean manufacturing and operational excellence. Gary served as Vice Chairman of Dana Holding Corporation and prior to this was the company's Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to his roles at Dana Corp., Gary was the first American manufacturing executive appointed by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) to be a managing officer, as well as executive vice president of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc.

Before this appointment, Gary spent 16 years building and operating New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. in Fremont California, and more than 20 years in various manufacturing and operational roles with General Motors Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in physics from Michigan State University.
