Gordon von Bretten (London) joined KKR Capstone in 2015 as European Procurement Head. Mr. von Bretten leads Procurement & Supply Chain value creation efforts across the KKR private equity portfolio. Mr. von Bretten joined KKR from KloecknerPentaplast Group, where he headed up the €300m Pharmaceutical Films division of KloecknerPentaplast as senior vice president. Prior to that he acted as KloecknerPentaplast’s chief procurement officer, leading its global purchasing function with more than €700m in annual spend. Mr.von Bretten also spent 15 years in management consulting, most recently with AlixPartners and A.T. Kearney, where he focused on corporate turnarounds and implementing sustainable cost reductions. Gordon von Bretten holds a Bachelor in International Business from IBS, Lippstadt (Germany) and an M.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo (Canada). He is fluent in English and German.
