Adam is General Counsel to EOS Ventures, LLC and its affiliates. Prior to EOS, Adam was a partner in the law firm of Grinnell Smith, LLP in Williamstown, Massachusetts. At Grinnell Smith, Adam concentrated his practice in the areas of business law, commercial and corporate finance, commercial real estate, zoning and land use, and renewable energy development. Adam has been active in the renewable power sector with EOS Ventures since the company's inception. He has worked on numerous EOS solar and wind projects. As in-house counsel, he concentrates on renewable energy deal structure, partnership and joint venture matters, financing, site development and due diligence.

A native of Williamstown, Adam returned to his hometown after receiving his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1988 and his law degree from St. John's University in 1995. He is also a Major in the Army National Guard in which he serves as the Command Judge Advocate for his unit, the 151st Regional Support Group of the Massachusetts National Guard. In 2007 he completed an extended deployment to the conflict-torn Balkan province of Kosovo where he served as the operational law staff officer in the headquarters of Task Force Falcon, the U.S. contingent to the NATO peace-enforcement mission in Kosovo.
Adam is admitted to the bars of Massachusetts and the U.S. Distrct Court, District of Massachusetts and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Berkshire Bar Association and the Judge Advocates Association.

Adam served two terms as President of the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce from 1999 to 2000 and is the chairman of the Williamstown Elementary School Committee. He is also a corporator of MountainOne Financial Partners, MHC, Northern Berkshire Healthcare, Inc., and MCLA Foundation, Inc.
