Jack Lloyd has served as an officer, founder, and director of medical and high technology companies since 1970. His companies include Aradigm, Nellcor, and Alere Medical He was the chairman of Aradigm, where he served as president from 1993-1994, and was the inventor of many of its key patents. Lloyd served as founder, president and CEO of Nellcor from 1981-1990, during which time he built Nellcor from a start-up to a company with $150 million in annual sales. Lloyd also serves on the boards of directors of Aspect Medical Systems and Atrionix. Lloyd earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley
