Jack Smith is currently an angel investor and advisor to early stage startups.

Jack Smith was previously the co-founder of Vungle, which sold to Blackstone in 2019 for $770 million. Jack also co-founded Shyp, which reached a peak of $250m+ valuation (with investors including Kleiner Perkins) but ultimately ended up shutting down.

Jack Smith had studied at King's College London, where he founded an incubator named IdeaBox. It was at King's College London University that he met his future Vungle co-founder Zain Jaffer and together they moved to San Francisco in order to join Angelpad.

Jack Smith's early stage investing and advising is conducted under the brand name of The Tribe
