Specifically, he focuses on aerospace (drones), intelligent defense, national security, commercial space (NewSpace), and deep tech startups (AI, computer vision, robotics, edge-computing, perception, simulation, etc.). Jackson actively advises startups about corporate structuring, partnerships, product development, sales, and fundraising. He also sources deals for 8VC (Invisible AI & Farcast), Afore Capital (Paperplane AI & Steady State), Airbus Ventures (Solestial), Weekend Fund (Justpoint), LightBank (Neatleaf), SpaceFund (Skyloom), Financial Venture Studio (FVS), Techstars, and Alchemist.

Jackson holds two B.A. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley where he studied Economics, with a concentration in monetary policy, and Political Science, with a concentration in game theory.
