Jacques Aschenbroich, born in 1954, “Ingénieur du Corps des Mines”, held several posts in the French administration and was a member of the cabinet of the Prime Minister between 1987 and in 1988. He then had an industrial career in the Saint-Gobain Group, where he managed subsidiaries in Brazil, Germany and the United States. He was President of the group’s glass and high performance materials activities, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Saint-Gobain Group until December 2008.
