Prior to One Kings Lane, Jim Liefer was vice president of operations at Walmart.com, the Internet division of the world’s largest retailer. During his six years there, Liefer was integral to scaling the Walmart.com supply chain and fulfillment operations, growing it to support a multi-billion dollar site. Previously, Liefer was a vice president with UPS Supply Chain Solutions, where he provided logistics solutions for many fortune 500 companies, including operations expansion at Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

He also was the vice president of applications at Fritz Companies, a provider of logistics and fulfillment services owned by UPS, where he developed their global supply chain visibility platform (FGV) and provided expertise in implementing retail supply chains and the use of information technology to support large scale operations. Liefer studied business administration at California State University Fresno.

As vice president of operations, Jim Liefer oversees the delivery of world-class customer service and new forms of innovation in operations. Prior to joining One Kings Lane, he served as vice president of operations at Walmart.com, where he was integral to scaling the company’s supply chain and fulfillment operations.

Before this, Jim was a vice president with UPS Supply Chain Solutions, which provides logistics solutions for companies such as Sears, Ford Motor Company, and Walmart.com. He also served as the vice president of applications at Fritz Companies, a provider of logistics and fulfillment services owned by UPS. Jim studied business administration at California State University, Fresno. He lives in San Francisco’s Duboce Park neighborhood with his partner and their dog, Troupah.
