Jin Yi is Executive Director at Redview Capital, a private equity fund founded by Mr. Jianming Yu in January 2016. Redview Capital focuses on traditional growth capital, on investments in Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Energy, Advanced Materials, and Consumer sectors in China. Jin Yi’s main focus areas are Clean Technology, Advanced Manufacturing and Advanced Materials.

Jin Yi has in-depth domain expertise in materials and clean technology with over 10 years of experience in technology development, product marketing and entrepreneurship. Since joining New Horizon Capital in 2013, Jin Yi has taken a leading role in its Jinko Power investment.

Prior to New Horizon Capital, Jin Yi spent four years at Keytone Ventures, investing in clean technology and high-tech sectors. Before Keytone Ventures, he was one of the founding members and a product marketing manager at Applied Materials’ energy storage product group, and a design engineer at its semiconductor process equipment group. Before his corporate career, Jin Yi conducted materials research on Li-ion battery and fuel cell at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
