Joel was the creator of ClassicGames.com, which was acquired by [Yahoo!](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/yahoo) in 1997 now known as Yahoo! Games.


Joel is also the author of a number of New York Times best-selling books which include: The Adsense Code, Twitter Power, Click Here to Order, and KaChing: How to Run an Online Business that Pays and Pays.


Joel holds a bachelor of arts in speech communications from the University of Illinois.
