Gjesdahl, born 1970, is the CEO of Springfondet, an early-stage investor in Promon. He has experience as Vice President M&A and Business Development at TANDBERG ASA and as Investment Manager at Telenor Venture. Gjesdahl also formed part of the management team of a high-tech startup during the dotcom years.

Gjesdahl holds an MBA from Cornell University and an MSc in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Gjesdahl joined the Promon board of directors in 2011.
