John Buttrick is a Partner at Union Square Ventures, which is based in New York. John joined USV in 2010. He manages the firm’s later stage fund, Union Square Ventures Opportunity Fund and led the firm’s investment in Lending Club. He also focuses on earlier stage investments in the financial sector.John began his career as a lawyer and from 1985 to 2000 practiced corporate law at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York.
