Julien Mialaret is an Operating Partner in Idinvest Partner's venture capital team, he conducts investments in early and late stage companies in Europe, the US and China. Julien focuses on the deep technologies transforming the world of enterprise and industry (AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, Payments, Data Analytics Robotics), innovation in ressource efficiency (energy storage, distributed power generation, waste water) and cross-border growth of US and European companies to Asia.

Julien is a fluent Mandarin, French, Spanish and English speaker. Prior to joining Idinvest Partners in 2011, he provided strategic advisory to EU and US cleantech start-ups in the Chinese market and started his career investing/acquiring large conventional and renewable power projects in China for EDF Group (Electricité de France ).

Julien holds a Masters in Management from ESCP Europe School of Management, a Masters in Archaeology from the Sorbonne, a B.A in Chinese Studies from the French School of Oriental Studies. He is a Beijing University alumni.
