Kate is co-head of the Investment Banking Division (IBD) in Asia Ex-Japan. She is a member of the Partnership Committee, the Asia Pacific Client and Business Standards Committee, the Global IBD Executive Committee and the Global IBD Operating Committee. Kate joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Kate worked at Morgan Stanley for 13 years, most recently as head of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific since 2011 and as co-head from 2009. Prior to this, she held numerous other leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, including head of investment banking for South East Asia from 2003 to 2006, head of the Asia Pacific Global Industrials Group from 2007 to 2009 and chief executive officer of South East Asia.Kate earned an MA in Chinese Studies from Edinburgh University.
