Lee Fixel is the founder of Addition, an investment firm focused on early and growth stage companies. Fixel was previously a Partner at Tiger Global Management, LLC, where he was head of the firm’s private equity business. He has backed companies including Peloton, Stripe, Spotify, Roblox, Flipkart, Freshworks, Warby Parker, MercadoLibre, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Fixel earned a B.S. in business administration, finance, and accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and is a CFA charter holder. He serves on the board of trustees of his alma mater and is a director of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. With his wife, Lauren, Fixel founded the Lauren and Lee Fixel Family Foundation. Through this foundation, Fixel established the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida Health, a clinical care and research institute focused on advancing diagnosis and treatment for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders. Fixel was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
