Lester Knight is the is a Founding Partner and serves as Chairman of the Management Committee at RoundTable Healthcare Management since February 2001. Lester is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and management of the Firm. Lester works closely with the operating and transaction teams in selecting and monitoring the Firm’s investments.

Lester also currently serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at Salter Labs, Renaissance Pharma and Santa Cruz Nutritionals.

Lester, with almost 35 years in the healthcare industry, has extensive strategic, operational and senior management experience including serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cardinal Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer at Allegiance.

Lester currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of AdvaMed (the Advanced Medical Technology Association) which is the trade organization representing medical device and diagnostic product manufacturers.

Lester was elected Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at Aon Corporation in July 2008 having served on the board since 1999.

Lester earned his MBA from Cornell University Johnson School of Management in 1981 and his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in 1980.
