Marc Allen serves as chief strategy officer and senior vice president of Strategy and Corporate Development at The Boeing Company. Boeing is one of the world’s largest aerospace company and one of the United States’ largest exporters.

Previously, Allen served as president of Boeing Capital Corporation, a wholly owned Boeing subsidiary that arranges, structures and provides financing for Boeing’s commercial airplane, space and defense products.

Prior to Boeing Capital, Allen served as vice president of Boeing International and president of Boeing China. In this role, Allen was responsible for leading the company’s business in China from its Beijing headquarters.

Additionally, Allen served as Boeing’s vice president for Global Law Affairs and general counsel to Boeing International, where he led the company’s international legal practice group from its inception. He was responsible for Boeing’s international operations’ legal issues, cross-border trade regulation matters, and international legal policy matters including the U.S.-EC WTO dispute on aircraft subsidies.

Before his time at Boeing, Allen practiced law with the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Kellogg Huber, litigating complex commercial cases for domestic and international clients. Previous government service includes an appointment as U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy’s law clerk.

Allen received his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Princeton University, majoring in political science with a certificate in economics. He received his law degree from Yale Law School.

A Southern California native, Allen is married and has four children. He is also a certified private pilot.
