Matt Smalley is a Principal with Cambridge Capital. He focuses on all aspects of the firm’s investment activities and is a member of firm's Investment Committee.

Before Cambridge Capital, Matt was a member of the Principal Transactions Group of Macquarie Capital, pursuing, executing and monitoring private equity investments in a variety of industries, using Macquarie’s balance sheet capital.

Before Macquarie, Matt spent over 5 years with Insight Venture Partners, pursuing, executing and monitoring private equity and growth investments in technology companies globally.

Matt graduated with Honors from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a dual degree in Finance and General Accounting.
