MATTHEW CHANG (Beijing) is a Managing Director and Head of KKR Capstone China since 2013. Mr. Chang has over 20 years of experience ranging from startup to MNC coprorate to professional service in Mainland China, Europe and North America. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Chang served as Global Senior Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, leading its Asian Operations and Restructuring practices. Mr. Chang’s earlier professional experiences also included China Managing Director at leading global restructuring firm AlixPartner LLP, Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company and Asia Strategy Director at Diageo PLC. Mr. Chang has a MBA degree from IMD International and undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics from Coe College/SUNY in the US.
