Mike Donnelly is Senior Vice President of Merchandising for The Kroger Co. He leads the Company’s merchandising integration and national procurement for Drug/GM, Grocery, Perishables, and Pharmacy. In addition, he is responsible for Advertising/Consumer Research/Customer Loyalty, Customer Insight & Strategy, Merchandising Systems Strategy, Supply Chain, and The Little Clinic.

Mike began his career at Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona in 1978. He advanced to several leadership positions at Fry’s, including district management. He was named vice president of Merchandising for Fry’s in 1995 and promoted to president of the Fry’s division in 2000. After serving as The Kroger Co.’s senior vice president of Drug/General Merchandise in 2002, he resumed his role as president of Fry’s in 2003. He was named president of the Ralphs division in 2007, and he was promoted to his current position in 2011.

Mike has served on the board of directors of the March of Dimes in Arizona, the Western Association of Foods Chains, and the Arizona Sports Foundation Executive Committee for the Fiesta Bowl.

He also served on the board of directors of THINK Together, which focuses on extended learning programs at schools.
