Tan has over 10 years experience in PR and marketing. Prior to MyPRGenie, Tan was the president of Excite Media Group, where she specialized in PR and marketing for start-ups and fast growth companies including McKinsey & Company, National Imaging Associates (acquired by Wellpoint), MindTree Consulting, Cognizant Technology Solutions, NYU, Opinion Research Corp and Peoplesoft (acquired by Oracle). Prior to Excite Media Group, Tan founded ExcitePR, a $2 MM hi-tech PR agency. Tan merged ExcitePR with a $15M PR and marketing firm in Silicon Valley. Tan has a BS from Cornell University and a JD from St. John’s University School of Law. She is admitted under the New York Bar.
