Mohamed Sammakia joined Investcorp in 2012 from UBS where he spent 21 years in a variety of positions, most recently as CEO for Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, Mohamed was a Managing Director and President, Middle East Region for UBS in London.

Mohamed has more than 30 years' experience in the Middle East and North Africa including time with SBC Warburg, Greenwich Capital, Swiss Bank Corporation and Citibank.

Mohamed holds a BA in Accountancy from the University of Alexandria, Faculty of Commerce.
