Nat Brown was the CTO at [iLike](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ilike).
Nat created and evangelized the ActiveX/COM object model in the early 90s. He had a primary role in the creation of XML, DHTML, and the first [XBox](http://www.crunchbase.com/product/xbox). He was at Microsoft from 1990 to 1999.

After retiring from [Microsoft](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/microsoft), he served briefly as CTO at [CAC Media](http://news.zdnet.co.uk/itmanagement/0,1000000308,39173917,00.htm), which sells software services for set-top boxes, and has informally advised numerous startups.
