Patrick Kelly is the COO of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Patrick was Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Stone Ridge Asset Management where he oversaw operations, technology, and accounting and was Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer for the Stone Ridge Trusts. Patrick was also a member of Atalaya Capital Management’s Advisory board where he was managing the build-out of Funding Path, a proprietary technology for facilitating complex B2B payments. He started his career at Citadel and has held leadership roles at Magnetar Capital and D.E. Shaw & Co.

Patrick is a CFA Charterholder and is a graduate of DePaul University.
