Paul Gould is the Managing Director at Allen & Company. Paul has worked for Allen & Company since 1972 and established Allen & Company's arbitrage business in 1975. In addition to the Fund, Paul has been involved in Allen & Company's merger and acquisition advisory practice, where he has served as a financial advisor to many Fortune 500 corporations.

Paul is a Member of the Board of Directors at Discovery Communications and a Member of the Compensation and Nominating Committees.

Paul served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Discovery Holding Company prior to Discovery Communications becoming a public company.

Paul currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Liberty Global, plc and Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation.

Paul also serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Cornell University, the Wildlife Conservation Society and the New School University and is an Overseer for the Weill Cornell Medical College.
