Mr. Peter Bishop, OBE, DL is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of PowerOasis Limited. Mr. Bishop has a background in leading edge military radio design and has extensive telecoms knowledge. He worked in the Cellular radio industry since 1989 and led teams of GSM, UMTS, WiMax and LTE products to market.
He served 4 years in developing and trialing micro renewable energy systems in conjunction with University research groups and cellular infrastructure equipment manufacturers.

He had a distinguished military career and started his own Defence Marketing company. He serves as the Chairman of Giltech Limited. Mr. Bishop serves as a Director of Venture Associates Limited and PowerOasis Limited. Mr. Bishop serves as a Director of Barwell plc, where he specializes in identifying investment opportunities and in helping SMEs to become more profitable. He was then called upon by his acquirors to rescue one of its failing companies and achieved a successful trade sale. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and holds six patents.
