Dick Jalkut joined Investcorp as an Advisory Director to the North American corporate investment team in 2002.Dick is a self-made telecommunications executive with over 30 years of experience in the telecom sector with large structured situations and entrepreneurial opportunities. After completing his undergraduate degree in Economics at Boston College, he moved through a number of line and staff chairs at New England Telephone, New York Telephone and the combined Nynex complex. He advanced to become the President and Group Executive for Nynex Telecommunications, a fully-integrated $13 billion business with $30 billion in assets and 16.5 million customers. Dick is currently President and CEO of TelePacific, a portfolio company headquartered in Los Angeles. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the American Museum of Natural History, the New York City Partnership, IKON Office Solutions, Covad, Birch Telecom, HSBC and ECI.
